How to update user information for their email signature
Signatures are set at the server level, using an Exchange transport rule.
They dynamically pull Display Name, Office Phone, and Cell Phone from 365.
It then injects HTML code to apply a consistent branding. This code was provided by SixteenFifty.
The rule logic does not apply it to replies or forwards.
To update a user’s information:
- Log into Office 365 as an admin
- Users > Active Users
- Click on the user to edit
- Click Manage Contact information
- The two dynamically-controlled fields are Office Phone and Mobile Phone. Fill in as necessary. Save when finished.
